Our Story
Mintconstruct was founded in 2010 by Geoff Symons — a builder who came up through the ranks and never lost sight of what matters: building homes families are proud to live in.
From early days in civil construction and insurance building, to earning an Unrestricted QBCC licence and building some of South East Queensland's most striking custom homes — every step has been about craft, integrity, and never cutting corners.
The Director
Geoff's career in construction started in 1999 and evolved through civil construction supervision, national insurance building, and years of on-site project management before he founded Mintconstruct in 2010.
He holds an Unrestricted QBCC Building Licence (1206310), a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Building and Construction, and is a member of both Master Builders QLD and the Housing Industry Association — whose award Mintconstruct won in 2018.
What sets Geoff apart isn't just the qualifications — it's that he's still on-site. Regularly. 25 years in, and he still knows your project. Still knows your build. Still accountable to you directly.
